The Law Consumers Association Pty Limited (“LawConsumers”) is a not-for-profit private company, ABN 36 160 317 546 located at 5A/142 Addison Road, Marrickville NSW 2204 Australia. By using this site or making or registering a Username and Password indicates your agreement to the terms and conditions set out here.

Using this site

Your rights

LawConsumers gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access, use and display this website (the “Site”) and the products and services provided hereon, provided that you comply fully with this Agreement. The contents of the Site are only for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to interrupt, or attempt to interrupt, the operation of the Site in any way. You must not share this service with any other person or organisation.

Your Username and Password

As part of the registration process, you will select a Username in conjunction with your Password. You must take care to keep both confidential as you may become liable for any unintended consequences of its unauthorised use.


In addition to any other rights of the parties, either you or LawConsumers may cancel or terminate this Agreement at any time – see Section below regarding refunds. If LawConsumers terminates this Agreement based on a breach of any portion of this Agreement, LawConsumers reserves the right to refuse access to any products or services to you in the future.


LawConsumers maintains your privacy when you visit our site. Please read our privacy policy for more information. If you send us any personal details, we will keep them confidential. When you send us email, we may use your email address to contact you in future. We may contact you for clarification or to answer your query, but we will not sell or pass on your details to third parties, except where they act as agents for us and the information is required to deliver the goods or services you have requested from us.

Your rights

Under the Trade Practices Act and related state and territory fair trading laws you have inalienable rights and remedies available to you if you consider something you purchase from this site is not of the standard you expected given its price and the way it was described. These rights are in addition to and not limited by the information below about our cancellation, refunds & returns policy.

Refunds & returns

For products sold through “LawStore” you may return any damaged or unsuitable product within 30 days for a prompt refund of its purchase price. Shipping costs will be refunded if the problem is a result of our error. Refunds for credit card sales will be credited directly to the card number supplied. All other refunds will be made via cheque.


Kits ordered online will be dispatched via Australia Post within two working days if in stock. If the product you want isn’t in stock, you’ll be notified by email, giving you an expected shipping date. All prices include postage for delivery within Australia.

Changes to these terms and conditions

LawConsumers may modify these terms and conditions at any time without providing notice to you. Your continued use of the site after such a modification constitutes your acceptance of that modification. For this reason a link is provided to the terms and conditions at the bottom of every page — you should check them each time you visit, because you are bound by them if you use the site.
